Award-winning hospital near Cheyenne, WY is looking for the right Controller to join their finance team. Come enjoy the best of both worlds by living in a rural community but being within an hour drive of a bigger city.
Key Responsibilities
- Directs and administers the general ledger, payroll, fixed assets, and accounts payable functions.
- Supervise and provide direction and support to the Accounting Department personnel.
- Manage Financial Audits and Generate financial statements accurately and on a timely basis, with minimal year-end adjustments
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Master’s degree or CPA required.
- Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a Controller position in a hospital setting required.
- Working knowledge of Patient Financial Services, Materials Management and Medicare cost reporting, business law, payer contracting, and information systems.
- Experience with Meditech and Lawson systems.
