We are actively recruiting for 2 Loan Processors with a very stable financial institution. This position is 100% remote and must reside in Texas. Loan Processors will be responsible for processing loans from application through closing, problem solve difficult scenarios, and assist loan officers as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing, explaining loan disclosures with borrowers
- Collecting all necessary documentation and verification
- Ordering title commitments and appraisals
- Active communication with borrowers, loan officer, title representatives, appraisers, underwriters, loan closers, real estate agents, and management
- Additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
- 2+ years minimum, recent experience processing conventional and FHA/VA mortgage loans
- Must have working knowledge of various investor guidelines and current regulatory guidelines including TRID, RESPA, TILA, MDIA, etc.
- Proficiency with computers including 10-key by touch
- Experience with Desktop Underwriter / Originator and Loan Prospector
- Ability to operate standard office machinery: copiers, faxes, printers, multi-line phones, etc.
- Successful NMLS registration is required
